Rasheeda Jones

Rasheeda Jones, also known as Imani Tawfiq, earned her Bachelors of Arts in Social Work from the California State University of Los Angeles and her Masters in Social Work from the illustrious Clark Atlanta University (CAU).

The LA native is a social worker, mental health advocate, writer, and now author who is passionate about bringing positive change, advocating on behalf of others, and inspiring others to be the change they wish to see in the world. She also serves as a community organizer with Initiate Justice and Essie Justice, advocating for social and criminal justice laws that impacts families effected by incarceration.

Embodying her various roles as a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, loving friend to many, Rasheeda’s ideals and vibes spews the importance of viewing the world through an Afrocentric perspective. She’s ultimately committed to breaking the stigmas of mental health while aiming to provide a sense and platform for healing.
